This section of the site is for the various mixes that people have done to celebrate Anjuna's eleventh anniversary. Over the coming weeks and months, several people who are well versed in Anjuna's history will be sharing the tracks that they remember the label for, and maybe sharing a little about their feelings behind them as well!

15/05/2011: Anjuna Eleven Volume Three: Redstar


On this day eleven years ago, Juno put their first copies of Anjunabeats – Volume One on sale. To celebrate this momentous day, Anjuna Eleven’s third offering comes from a man who has signed productions and remixes to labels including Perceptive, Monster, Enhanced and his own label ‘Red Force Recordings’. These tracks have seen support from top jocks including Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren and Above & Beyond. 


On top of this, he operates two radio shows and has previously been invited to do a mix for Trance Around The World! When he agreed to do a mix for the series it was certainly a big moment for us, and all at the Anjuna Eleven project want to thank him for his time and his mix! Ladies and gentleman, we give you Redstar.

21/05/2011: Anjuna Eleven Volume Six: Omnicron




When this series was announced I wanted to create a mix that showed the depth of the label, with some names one hardly attributes to Anjunabeats. I tried to create a mix putting together some of my favourite tracks i feel represent the label as well as some of the forgotten wonders, some remixes that have been mercilessly overlooked that could blow the socks off of a container on nitroglycerin. Mixes from folks like Laurent Veronnez under his Planisphere alias, Airbase, Sequentia and the terrific Probspot. And even well known producers have tracks the get left behind, like Daniel Kandi and Mark Andrez's lesser known 1st remix of One Wish and Adam Nickey on Misgrey. Finally I threw down some gems forgotten and not so, with Signalrunners, SJK and Smith & Pledger getting healthy shout outs!

I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as i enjoyed making it.
